Sorbic acid is included into the list of raw materials for state standard specifications and TU on such production as: milk canned food, juice, sauces, mayonnaise, margarine, various cheeses, dried fruits, olives, jam and jams, fish, soft drinks, wine, yaytseprodukta, stuffings for pelmeni, pastes, candies and chocolate with stuffings, bakery products.
Sorbic acid is one of the most widely applied preservatives in the food industry since does not constitute danger to a human body at consumption in the resolved doses and even positively influences it since increases immunity and promotes removal of toxins.
So the admissible daily dose of sorbic acid for the person makes 25mg/kg body weight.
